Automatically calculate Estimated Revenue from active proposals (bookkeeping records)

This feature is available in module Sales (Enterprise).

The setting is in: Administration Center > Features > Sales.

Important: This setting is available only in the case that the Quotes & Billing feature is turned on in the Administration Application.

Automatically calculate Estimated Revenue from active proposals (bookkeeping records) gives you the opportunity to adjust whether the Est. Revenue field in the Deal window will be calculated from bookkeeping records (only the Issued Proposal type with marked Active check box) that are related to the deal. For example, if the deal is related to a proposal you sent to your business partner, the bookkeeping record price will be immediately reflected in the deal revenue. The setting is applied to all deals regardless of their status.

Click Automatically calculate Estimated Revenue from active proposals (bookkeeping records) to turn the setting on/off.

If the function is turned on, all active Issued Proposal bookkeeping record related to the deal are calculated to the Est. Revenue field in the Deal window. Whether there are existing relations to bookkeeping records and a deal before turning this function on, even these existing records will be calculated in the Est. Revenue field.

If the function is turned off, bookkeeping records won't be calculated in the Est. Revenue field of any deal.

If the function is turned on, the field that is used for automatic summarization cannot be edited.

When you change the settings, be sure to click Save. For more information, go to Features.
