Synchronization error during automatic task creation from workflow (0x8000FFFF) / Application error during work with a task (0x8000FFFF)
Description
During the automatic creation of task from workflow, eWay Agent turn red. After repeated synchronization, eWay Agent turn green, the task is created but you cannot work with it.
If you want to work with the task, this error will appear:
Message: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8000FFFF): Default folder of this kind does not exist in the store

This is an issue of Outlook 2013 and different messages can be written in the error log, but always is logged: Message: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8000FFFF).

The error can be solved by adding a key into the Windows registry depending on the configuration of your computer.
There are two .reg files:
- File called Outlook2013_C2R_32_on_64 - is for the configuration where bit architecture of Windows is different from the Office bit configuration (64-bit x 32-bit)
- File called Outlook2013_C2R - Windows and Office has same bit architecture (31-bit x 32-bit or 64-bit x 64-bit)
Launch the file that has same description as your Windows and Office bit architecture is.
