Error: Installation failed with error code '1618'.

Description

Installation of new version cannot proceed and you see this error:

ERROR eWaySetupLauncher - Installation failed with error code '1618'.

Or this error:

ERROR_INSTALL_ALREADY_ RUNNING 1618 Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install.

Resolution

1. Restart your computer and try installation again. Another installations or Windows Update can be in progress.
2. Install eWay-CRM manually.

eWay-CRM may not be in Programs and Features of Microsoft Windows anymore. Then you need to run eWay-CRM installation file. Installation can be blocked by installation of another application. You will see the dialog with text like this:

An installation for [name of application] is currently suspended. You must undo that changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo these changes?

You need to click Yes. eWay-CRM installation should proceed correctly.
