Notify Team About Items Related to Project or Deal
If you want to have an overview of your project you have to know what steps are done by all team members. If you lose this insight, the result of the project can be very different from your plans. eWay-CRM has a simple solution for these needs. You can track items that are added to a project or a deal by other users. eWay-CRM has a group of simple functions that automatically notifies team members when a document, an email, or a journal is added to a project or a deal or this item was edited.
Notifications are related only to modules of Projects and Deals. Users can be related to a project or a deal so that they create a team. The sense of the notification is informing these users that other system users added some new item to their project or deal or edited some existing item. Notification is sent by email, so it is necessary that each user has his email address filled in his or her User window. If the email address is not filled in, a notification cannot be received.
Notify Team About Items Related to Project
You can create Teams for projects - a group of people that are working on the project. The notification will be sent only to the users that are part of the particular project team. The setting of the notification is in the Administration Application of eWay-CRM in the Global Settings section, category Projects.
Team members will be notified about the following types of items that are added to the project:
- Document: Notify All Project Team Members About New Document Assigned to Project
- Email: Notify All Project Team Members About New Email Assigned to Project
- Journal: Notify All Project Team Members About New Journal Assigned to Project

Notify Team About Items Related to Deal
You cannot create teams for deals as it is in projects, but you can relate users with a deal by the Users tab in the Deal window. The notification will be sent only to the users that are related to the deal. The setting of the notification is in the Administration application of eWay-CRM in the Global Settings section, category Deals.
Team members will be notified about the following types of items that are newly added to the deal:
- Document: Notify All Deal Members About Assigned Document
- Email: Notify All Deal Members About Assigned Email
- Journal: Notify All Deal Members About Assigned Journal
