SPF Records

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is mechanism that allows you to define servers which have permission to send emails from your domain. Thanks to the setting, Professional email server can be publicly authorized to send emails by your name.

You need to set DNS record (in TXT form) that gives you positive ranking for antispam filters. This will increase the delivery level of your emails vie external systems. Some email servers are looking for SPF records on your emails.

The example of DNS record in TXT form is:

v=spf1 include:spf.emailkampane.cz ~all

If you need to insert more values to SPF record, never create new one - it will be penalized by almost all receivers. Always add parameters to the existing SPF record, like:

v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.emailkampane.cz -all

The "-all" parameter is strict value for enforcing the rules of the SPF record. It is higher level of authorization. But if the email is incorrect, it will be strictly rejected.

The "~all" parameter has only informative function. It is lower level of authorization. Incorrect email will receive some negative points by antispam filters, but it is not strictly rejected.
