Resolution

In the case, you have 32-bit MS Office installed on 64-bit MS Windows system, check the Windows Registry under the following paths:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\XX.0\Outlook\InstallRoot
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\XX.0\Outlook\InstallRoot

XX in paths stands for values 11, 12, 14, or 15.

It can happen that after incorrect uninstallation, InstallRoot remains filled, even though the path actually does not exist. E.g. Version 15 (MS Office 2013) remains, even though it was uninstalled. Newly, there is MS Outlook 2010, but eWay-CRM checks the old version. The old and incorrect value in Registry needs to be deleted. Follow these steps:

  1. Write regedit in the search field of the Start menu in Windows and launch the application.
  2. Check both two paths above whether they do not contain incorrect value.
  3. If there is old and incorrect value, right-click it and delete it.
  4. Confirm your action.
