The setting is in: Administration Center > Features > Projects.
Automatically calculate Estimated Other Costs from subprojects gives you the opportunity to adjust the calculation of other planned costs for superior projects. More information about superior projects can be found in the chapter: Projects Module Introduction.
Click Automatically calculate Estimated Other Costs from subprojects to turn the setting on/off.
If the function is turned on, the value in the Estimated Other Costs field in the Project window, which is adjusted as the superior project to other projects, is automatically calculated as the sum of all the estimated other costs of its sub-projects.
If the function is turned off, the automatic sum of estimated costs function is deactivated.
When you change the settings, be sure to click Save. For more information, go to Features.
