 UAC
User Account Control is security technology that increases the safeness of Microsoft Windows by the limitation of application permissions on the user level, until the administrator changes the application permissions. Only trustworthy applications receive higher permissions. Malware won't be allowed to damage your system. The user account can have administrator's permissions, but application can have different permissions. Applications have higher permissions by their settings or by temporary user's permission if the system asks.
