Integration With Zapier
eWay-CRM allows you to integrate with Zapier. You can create automatic workflows that will work for you.
This article describes an integration setup that enables the automatic creation of a deal in eWay-CRM whenever a company is created in eWay-CRM. The idea is that each time a new company is entered, a corresponding deal is also automatically generated, so you won’t need to input it manually. This is just one specific scenario; the integration between eWay-CRM and Zapier has many other uses, such as processing data received in eWay-CRM or using data from eWay-CRM for operations in other applications. The integration works with both default eWay-CRM fields and custom fields.
- Log in to your Zapier account.
- Click Create to start a new scenario.
- First, click Trigger to set up the trigger that will initiate an action.
- Choose your first application—in this case, eWay-CRM—by typing its name to search for it, then click eWay-CRM.
- Once the app is selected, specify the trigger type. We assume it’s the creation of a company, so select New or Updated Company.
- Next, in the Account field, log in to your eWay-CRM account as usual. You can log in without the Client ID and Client Secret, as they are optional. Once logged in, click Continue.
- Run a test for this step, which will generate a few basic records, in this case, companies. Click on them to view the values Zapier has retrieved; a list of all available fields will be shown. Choose one of the records, then click Continue with selected record.
- In the next step, select the action (Action) and again search for and choose eWay-CRM.
- In the Action event, specify the action to be performed—in this case, Save a Deal.
- Once done, click Continue.
- Now, you can set which values will populate the deal fields. These can come from the newly created company or be set as fixed values as needed.
- After filling out everything required, click Continue.
- Test your scenario by clicking Test step.
- If everything is correct, you can publish your Zap by clicking Publish. In the Trigger field, you’ll see how often the scenario will run, in this case, every 5 minutes.
-
Once the scenario is published, it will start performing the desired action, in this case, creating deals associated with companies.
