Integration With Microsoft Teams
Availability: The integration is available from eWay-CRM version 9.0.
eWay-CRM offers an expanded integration with Microsoft Teams, allowing you to download the eWay-CRM app directly into Teams. This enables you to browse your eWay-CRM data directly within Teams and includes additional features that simplify working with your data and communicating with your colleagues.

Install the Application
In Microsoft Teams, simply click on the Apps icon on the left side.

Search for eWay-CRM and click on its card.

Then click Add.

Once the installation is successful, continue by clicking Open.

You will need to log in to your eWay-CRM account as you are used to.

After successfully logging in, you’ll see the eWay-CRM app in the left sidebar menu under the three-dot icon.

Work With Data
Clicking on the eWay-CRM app icon will take you to the main page of eWay-CRM Online, which you know from the web interface. Using it is the same as before.

Clicking on a module will display its list, allowing you to open items, create, and edit lists, etc. See Basics of Work With List for more details.

Send Easy-to-View Links
Microsoft Teams allows you to send links with a preview, showing a card as soon as the link is inserted, so you can understand at a glance what the link is about. Simply paste the link into a Teams conversation. You’ll only need to log in to your eWay-CRM account the first time you send a link. This is due to a restriction within Microsoft Teams.

For future links, logging in won’t be necessary, and links to items in eWay-CRM will appear like this:

If link previews still don't display, make sure they are enabled in Teams. Go to Settings (the three-dot icon on the top bar) and select the Privacy section. Then scroll down and check that the Optional connected experience setting is turned on. If it's not, enable it.

Create Tasks and Journals
While communicating with your colleagues, you can easily create tasks and journals directly from a conversation. Simply hover over a specific message line and click on the three dots. Under More Actions, or directly in the context menu if you've used the feature before, you’ll see the option Create task in eWay-CRM or Create a Journal in eWay-CRM.

Clicking on the desired option will create a new item with a pre-filled subject based on the content of the conversation (in this case a task). The link to the Tams conversation is inserted into the item as a Note. You just need to save the item.

In the Teams chat, a card with a link (see above) to the newly created task or journal will also be generated, making it possible to send it directly to the respective contact.
